A kremlin is simply a fortress or citadel and there are many scattered across Russia but here are a few random pictures of the most famous of them all. The one in the heart of Moscow, overlooking the Moskva River. Though the government buildings and state apartments are strictly off limits (and strictly no photography) you can visit the older part with it’s churches and palaces.
Did not know the Kremlin is really a fortress. Photos of buildings are wonderful.
